I am Laura O’Shaughnessy. A mother of four children, including my very small, rather loud and always messy twins. I’ve spent my working life helping clients sell their products and services through clever marketing and branding. Now, I spend my most of my time selling in things in a very different way, to a very different audience, all under the age of ten.
Being a mother is a humbling, frustrating but ultimately very funny role. One which despite the terrible pay and horrific hours, delivers back with moments of joy and thankfully plenty of laughter.
Writing gives me enormous pleasure. As I emerge from the end my first year with twins, I’m finding the space and motivation to write freely again. I’m picking up some nice writing projects, which I will link to from this page.
